Lilly is giving us Alpacas and Llamas everywhere! All I can say is I’m glad it is not elephants right now. This print just came out today and it is gorgeous! I love this Bay Dress in Alpaca my Bags, I have one from last year, this style is just as great as the Marlowe and Linden dresses. Give me all the comfy dresses from Lilly Pulitzer! I live in these year round!
If you recently saw a poll on my Insta story about which Tieks I got, Chestnut was right! I debated back and forth between Fuchsia and Chestnut, but I have a weakness for a pair of shoes I can wear with almost anything! I have looked at the Chestnut for a while now and just knew I needed them. I think I will go back for the Fuchsia soon…
Fall is finally here. Yes, it has been fall since September 22nd, but it officially FEELS like fall! I live in South Carolina, we will have a few days in the 60s and then it will shoot right back to 80° degrees! I love fall weather and at times it never feels like fall where I live. I always love having pieces where I can transition for colder days to days where it is in the 70s. I have been obsessed with Marlowe dresses since last fall, which is when I got my first one. I actually paired it with this same vest I am wearing. You can see that post HERE. I love wearing quarter sleeve dresses year round. You can throw on a vest, a cardigan, even a jacket to keep warm. I have worn my dresses like this one so many ways – which you can always see a lot of my outfits on my Insta.
It is a full bloom of spring out now. The weather is now becoming perfect and hopefully stays this way. I love spring time mainly because of the weather. Yes, summer is my favorite season, but I wish where I live the weather always be like it is in spring. Today I wanted to share this outfit, I was obsessed once I saw it paired together online. Unlike most sets, this one is actually a pair of pants and tunic to purchase separately. I’ve seen it worn separate with other pieces or together (which is my favorite).
Happy Easter my Lilly Friends! It is the day that you see everyone and their mom wear their first Lilly Pulitzer dress, which so happens that was me in 2013. My very first Lilly Pulitzer dress was from Goodwill that my mom found for $7! I wore it that Easter and then here I am 4 years later. I wore my first Lilly in 2013, then a full year later in 2014 I wanted to actually purchase a new Lilly dress to wear that year for Easter. It was going to be my first full price item from Lilly. After purchasing my full price Lilly dress in 2014, the obsession became real. So technically 3 years later my collection has grown excessively.
Since it is finally March, my mind is set on wearing all Spring outfits. I recently went to J.Crew Factory and fell in love with this Ruffle-sleeve top. Not only am I obsessed with the stripes, it is NAVY stripes! Navy is a huge staple item year round in my closet, I can never say no to navy. Which brings me to my favorite purse I have ever carried. My Longchamp, this one is the smallest size in navy, of course.
Happy Valentines Day! It is the day that someone either loves or hate. I usually don’t care for the holiday, mainly because if you are with someone, you should always show your significant other you care about them. Sometimes this is the only day someone shows affection to their other. However I may not love this holiday, I sure do love all things that surround love. Like this shirt from Vineyard Vines, I purchased the first week of January because I knew I needed to add it to my closet. Last year I got the I WHALE YOU shirt, which is featured HERE, and I loved it so much! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this shirt.
Within the first week of January in 2017, we get snow in South Carolina. Yes, the place that goes crazy then obsessively buys milk and bread like the world is ending. I took advantage of the beautiful background and covered ground to show this outfit off. I have this Vineyard Vines vest from last year that came back this year in navy, that no longer on the website I guess it sold out! I love this vest, I don’t pull it out much but I love pairing it with a pink top.
Have a cold shoulder? No, not this fall, maybe by the time winter comes. It is the beginning of October and still in the 80’s where I live. I can’t believe it is fall and all I want to wear are my summer shorts and dresses. Pants are such a pain to wear right now! Because my closet is half Lilly Pulitzer, I needed some fall clothes to wear for this 80-degree weather. I bought this cold-shoulder dress from TJ Maxx recently and thought it was perfect for transitioning into cooler days. My mom and I went on a hunt to find pumpkins to try Pinterest DIY decorations.
Fall is slowly creeping upon us. I wish it would come just a tad faster, I am tired of all this heat! I have been on the hunt to find a trendy dress for the upcoming fall. AND to find a LBD dress to go with these Sam Edelman boots I purchased last year. I have a huge obsession with Sam Edelman shoes and these were a pair I couldn’t pass up last year. You can still find this style to shop this year, just not the print.
