6 Ways to Stay Motivated in 2016

Am I the only one who loves have a workout motivation board on my Pinterest, but for some reason I am rarely motivated to actually workout… Well this year I really want to bust my butt on trying to workout. So I have a couple of things I am going to try to get me motivated. If you have any ways to motivate yourself that have worked please share them with me! The more the better!

Lets get started:

  1. Work out in the morning! - As much as I will dread it, but I will be done with it early as possible! Also taking a warm shower afterwards feels amazing. Then once you are done, you have the whole day ahead of you!

  2. Find a friend or two or three! - I have about three friends I like to work out with whenever I do. It definitely helps the process!

  3. Treat yourself! - When you have reached certain checkpoints you want or a goal. Don't forget to treat yourself. If it's a new pair of tennis shoes or even a nice lunch! Rewarding yourself keeps the motivation go!

  4. Have the hottest playlist! - Would you want to workout to music you didn't enjoy? It all depends per person, I like to feel pumped up and loud music!

  5. Relax! - You want your body to thank you and not hate you! Sometimes your body needs a break. Even if it's a day or a week! Just depends on each person.

  6. BREATHE It's Okay! - This is my last tip for you. IT is OKAY to cheat. You can have the cookies you want. Just limit it and push your next workout. It is OKAY to not have time. We all have those days where school and/or work drains the energy out. It is OKAY to not do your best. You may not always have the best workout. Like I said, IT IS OKAY!

Now remember, I am not the professional at this. This is just my advice, so you can take it or ignore it. I just think of these things sometimes and thought I would share them for you! I hope your NEW YEAR is going great so far and keep PUSHING IT!
